Hersey Mountain Forever-Wild Conservation Easement was NEWT’s first foray into the Granite State. These wild 2,141 acres in New Hampshire border 1,100 acres of forest actively managed for timber production. Together, this wilderness area and managed forest—which provides a healthy mix of habitats for wildlife—make up the Hersey Mountain Community Forest. Learn More.
