Bobcats, Bears, Moose, Mink and More

March 15, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Northeast Wilderness Trust for our 20th Anniversary Spring Speaker Series, celebrating that We Are One of Many!

Register here.

Meet your wild neighbors! How many of us have grieved the loss of wild places and felt powerless as individuals to protect the wildlife that depend upon them? Keeping Track founder and science director Susan Morse will share how there can be strength in numbers when you and your neighbors create a “conservation initiative” with the purpose of documenting how wildlife use their habitats. Then, you and your human neighbors can more effectively work together to define and permanently conserve forever-wild landscapes in your region. We’ll get a fun introduction to a dozen fascinating local species from Susan. By understanding their inner lives and their tracks and sign, we can be better equipped to protect their homes.

This event is co-hosted by “Blue Mountain Wilderness Alliance,” which is a small and growing group residents of Ryegate, VT and neighboring towns. The group’s goal is to bring together those who share an interest in collaborating on a landscape scale conservation initiative.

This event is free and made possible by NEWT’s wonderful community of supporters. Please consider a $5-10 donation to support Northeast Wilderness Trust’s work to save wild places. Click here to make a gift…thank you!
