Becky Clough Becky earned a B.S. in Adventure Education Leadership from Maine’s Unity College and has spent decades helping people reconnect with the wild. Her work has taken her from remote river canyons in the Southwest and Caribbean coral reefs to High Sierra trout streams and Alaska’s mountains and Arctic tundra. Returning to Maine allowed her to build a small home, live near family, and fulfill her dream of stewarding the forests that inspire her as Northeast Wilderness Trust’s Maine Stewardship Manager. Outside work, she enjoys woodworking, packrafting, gardening, coffee by the woodstove, and ski and mountain bike patrol at her local hill. Contact Becky with questions about the Wilderness Trust’s conserved properties in Maine.
Brian Conrad Brian’s passion for wildlife began in childhood, when he explored ponds and turned over rocks to identify reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Keene State College and is pursuing an M.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Management at Unity Environmental University. After working as a quality and sterility assurance microbiologist, he missed being connected to Nature. His 2023 role as a Wildlands Ecology Intern with Northeast Wilderness Trust renewed his commitment to wilderness conservation. In his free time, Brian enjoys long-distance backpacking—including thru-hikes of the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide trails—along with ski patrol, foraging, mycology, fishing, and hunting.
