Northeast Wilderness Trust’s free 2026-2027 Speaker Series continues with a panel of experts all working to conserve old-growth forests.
John M. Hagan of Our Climate Common and Brian Milakovsky of New England Forestry Foundation will join Northeast Wilderness Trust’s Jon Leibowitz for a program on the outlook for the Northeast’s rare but crucial old-growth forests. Hagan and Milakovsky will present on their respective efforts to catalogue and protect old-growth forests in Maine, followed by a discussion between the three speakers about new strategies and hopes for this threatened and critical forest class across the region. The webinar will close with a Q&A between the three speakers and the audience.
