Bill McKibben, renowned activist, author, and professor, will describe how Earth’s ecosystems—and their conservation—can mean the difference between a live-able future for all beings and climate chaos. Bill will also share stories of how personal experiences and connections with wild nature can be the seeds from which a lifetime of environmental advocacy and eco-centric mindsets may grow.

Bill McKibben is founder and senior adviser emeritus of 350.org, the first global grassroots climate campaign. He is the author of 17 books and a contributor to magazines such as Orion, Outside, The New York Times, and Mother Jones. Bill serves on Northeast Wilderness Trust’s Advisory Board.
